Alright, I got a mid-tower PC case at home. As I no longer need it, I thin I'll mod it steampunk style, but I have no previous modding experience. Anyone can recommend good modding sites and\or tutorials? I don't want to blast the whole thing due to inexperience.
I don't know any tutorials off the top of my head, but get some wood laminate and stick it over the case, bolt some shiny brass pipes to it, and glue some gears to it and pow. done. haha
ReplyDeleteseriously though, instructables.com probably has one.
have no idea sorry dude :/
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing what you come up with!

ReplyDeleteA couple of the link through sites have some detailed photos of the build process.
frikkin epic man!
ReplyDeleteI think I'd start with copper foil to cover the case, and work from there. You can emboss the copper, and solder just about anything you want to it.
ReplyDeletehttp://overclock.net/ is a great place, check out the case mods and get some inspiration.
ReplyDeleteNo clue sorry man but good luck
ReplyDeleteYou could get the sprockets out of an old transmission, make a plexi window on the side and fill the inside with the sprockets, maybe hookup some 12V motors to make it turn, but that'll probably be a stretch...
ReplyDeleteGood luck, looking forward to seeing the results.
